Costco Coupons October 2013 (10/3/2013 – 10/27/2013)

October 2013 Costco Coupon Book Cover

For your viewing pleasure I have posted the new October 2013 Costco coupon book. This gives you a chance to see it before you get it in the mail, can view it online, or in the app. The above link will allow you to view or download the coupons if you’d like, and is valid from October 3rd to October 27th. Also, valid until Sunday is the September 2013 coupon book if you haven’t seen that. While most of the items on sale don’t require any coupon, some will have a blue arrow at the top of them, which means you need the booklet or app to get the discount. Remember, the booklet says that additional books will NOT be available at the warehouse, which is a change from the past. If you’d like to be notified as soon as deals come up, make sure to subscribe to our email list, like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter!

Not much to write home about in this coupon book. Some are excited about the Purina cat food, which should be $14.49 after coupon, which comes out to approximately $0.40 per can. Another item of interest is the Kai Pure Komachi 2 Knives, which are only $24.99. I heard great reviews about them last year when they were on sale, and are priced at $60 on Amazon. Lastly, there is a lot of interest in the 80″ Vizio TV, which is $600 off, which should make it $3,299. As for myself, I am picking up the Braun Series 5 Razor. I bought one last year and it is SO much better than my old Norelco. The shaver will be $100 after $20 coupon. The tire coupon is Michelin for the second month in a row. That means you should expect Bridgestone next month.

You can download the Costco app if you didn’t get the coupon book mailed to you, and show the cashier your coupons from your phone. Also, at some locations the cashier will have the coupons already and automatically scan it for you. I  heard they are getting more strict on this though. These coupons will not work in store, as you need the barcode. Read more if you’d like to see a list of items and their after coupon prices. Have you tried any of the items in this coupon book? What did you think?

Costco Coupons September 2013 (9/5/13 – 9/29/13)

September 2013 Costco Coupon Book Cover

Here is the early preview of the upcoming September 2013 Costco coupon book. See it before you get it in the mail or can view it in the app so that you don’t buy something this week that will be on coupon starting next Thursday. The link above will allow you to view or download the coupons, which run from September 5th until September 29th. Valid for two more days is the August 2013 coupon book if you’d like to review it before it expires on Sunday. As I mentioned last month, the booklet has a new design to it, focusing on using the mobile app to present your coupons. While most of the items on sale don’t require any coupon, some will have a blue arrow at the top of them, which means you need the booklet or app to get the discount. Remember, the booklet says that additional books will NOT be available at the warehouse, which is a change from the past. Not every coupon book is a home run for everyone. We all buy different things at Costco, and get excited over different things on discount. For September it seems like most excitement is over the KS Laundry Detergent and the Naked Juice Value Pack. Usually the wiper blades become buy one get one free in the fall, so a bummer that they’re only $3 off. Still, only a difference of a dollar or two. As for myself, I am intrigued by the Naked juice, but I want to know how it compares at the per ounce cost to other juices. I like the bourbon chicken, but don’t want to eat it all myself so I’ll probably pass on that. I might pick up the Torta rolls and give those a try. I’ll also compare the Muscle Milk powder to the CytoSport Whey Protein they sell and see which one I want to pick up. The tire coupon is back to Michelin after two months on Bridgestone.

You can download the Costco app if you didn’t get the coupon book mailed to you, and show the cashier your coupons from your phone. Also, at some locations the cashier will have the coupons already and automatically scan it for you. I  heard they are getting more strict on this though. Costco Coupons August 2013 (8/8/13 – 9/1/13)

August 2013 Costco Coupon Book Cover

This Thursday is the start of the August 2013 Costco coupon book. This link will allow you to view or download the coupons, which run from August 8th until September 1st. There are only four days between the July 2013 coupon book, which ended Sunday, and this one, which starts on Thursday. Costco has completely redesigned the coupon book this month. All over the coupon book it talks about how you can use the new Costco app to show your coupons in store. There are not barcodes on the back of every coupon, but instead just a couple barcodes in the first two pages of the book, which are good for the whole book.  Items that are not “instant savings” have a blue arrow on the top of them saying “Book or App required”, in which there are 18 throughout the book. Also, the coupon book makes sure to point out all of the items that are available on Costco.com, with a red box which says “Also Available at Costco.com”. Lastly, the book says that additional books will NOT be available at the warehouse, which is a change from the past. If you’d like to be notified as soon as deals come up, make sure to subscribe to our email list, like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter!

Most would describe this as a good coupon book. Hardly ever are diapers on sale, and with $6 off Huggies, it is a remarkable deal. Even those without children are considering buying them to stock up for when that day comes! Also, the Spinach and Mozzarella Ravioli are a great product at regular price. As for myself, I may buy the IZZE Sparkling Juice, as my spouse is a big fan. We could also use some more Dixie Plates, so it will be nice to save $2 on those. Bridgestone is back for the second month in a row, so I would expect next month it would go back to Michelin.

Have you tried any of the items in this coupon book? What did you think?

Costco Coupons July 2013 (7/11/13 – 8/4/13)

July 2013 Costco coupon book cover

Starting today is the new July 2013 Costco coupon book. Clicking the link will allow you to view or download the coupons, which run from July 11th until August 4th. The June 2013 coupon book just ended on Sunday and these coupons began 4 days later. There are also roughly three pages of coupons requiring barcodes. If you’d like to be notified as soon as deals come up, make sure to subscribe to our email list, like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter!

There are a couple of items that stick out. For one, the Folgers instant coffee is only on sale about once a year, so if this is an item you’ve been waiting for to go on sale, here’s your chance. Another item is the Ion Block Rocker, which was last on sale a year ago. I missed that deal and won’t make that mistake again. This Block Rocker is an updated model that includes Bluetooth capability. There are also lots of cleaning products, between the laundry detergents, dishwashing soap, and more. The tire coupon has rotated back to Bridgestone. It seems like Costco is now rotating every two months.

Remember, at most locations you can grab a book at your membership counter if you never got it mailed to you and at some locations the cashier will have the coupon there and automatically scan it for you. I  heard they are getting more strict on this though. Perhaps to encourage the new coupon email signup program. These coupons will not work in store, as you need the barcode. You can also now download the Costco app and show the cashier your coupons from the app! Have you tried any of the items in this coupon book? What did you think?

Costco Coupons June 2013 (6/13/13 – 7/7/13)

June 2013 Costco Coupon Book Cover

Now being mailed is the June 2013 Costco coupon book. Clicking the link will allow you to view or download the coupons, which run from June 13th to July 7th. The May 2013 coupon book just ended last Sunday and this one begins 11 days later. There are only three pages of coupons requiring barcodes, as the rest are instant. If you’d like to be notified as soon as deals come up, make sure to subscribe to our email list, like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter!

Each month it seems like the coupon book is getting a little less exciting than the previous month. There are a lot of drinks to choose from, including Vita Coconut water, KS Diet Green Tea, Perrier Sparkling water, San Pellegrino, KS VitaRain, Starbucks Refreshers, and Sobe Lifewater. If you’re looking to restock, Bounty paper towels and Charmin toilet paper is on sale. No Kirkland Signature paper towels or toilet paper. As for me, I like the VitaRains, so I may get some more of those, and might try the Starbucks Refreshers if they are cheap enough. The tire coupon is Michelin for the second month. I’m pretty sure next month will be Bridgestone.

Costco Coupons May 2013 (5/9/13 – 6/2/13)

May 2013 Costco coupon book cover page

Although a little late, here is the May 2013 Costco coupon book. Clicking the link will allow you to view or download the coupons, which run from May 9th to June 2nd. The April 2013 coupon book just ended on Sunday and this one begins only four days later. There are only three pages of coupons requiring barcodes, as the rest are instant. If you’d like to be notified as soon as deals come up, make sure to subscribe to our email list, like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter!

I would say the response to this coupon book has been underwhelming. People are curious about the Simpson pressure washer but that’s about it. The Coppertone sun screen is a good deal for the upcoming summer, as well as the Off! Insect Repellant and the Chlorine tabs. There is some excitement about the Huggies Diapers, which do not go on sale very often, and could be a good opportunity to stock up. The Samsung 55″ LED HDTV is $799 AC, which is a great deal for a 55″ TV. The HTC One phone is very popular right now, and it’s a pretty good deal at $129 AC. As for myself, I might pick up the Coppertone Sport, but that’s probably it. The tire coupon is now back to Michelin.
