Costco Coupons November 2011 (11/10/11 – 11/27/11)

November 2011 Costco coupon book

The November 2011 Costco coupon book is now available for your viewing pleasure. This link will allow you to look at it online or download it from my google docs. This book runs from November 10th through November 27th, so it is valid over Black Friday. There will be another coupon book valid for just Black Friday weekend that I will get to you as soon as it is available. Costco is trying something new here, putting the instant savings (no coupon required) first, which they never do. Notable items include the Kirkland diapers, the baby wipes, and the pita chips are a great value. For the first time in a very long time, I don’t think there is anything in this coupon book that I will be picking up. One user suggested they’re saving the best deals for Black Friday, and I hope they’re right. The tires are back to Bridgestone, and they are having the special deal where they give you $30 off the installation fee as well, saving you $100 on a set of 4 tires.

Remember, at most locations you can grab a book at your membership counter if you never got it mailed to you and at some locations the cashier will have the coupon there and automatically scan it for you. I  heard they are getting more strict on this though. Perhaps to encourage the new coupon email signup program. Hope you enjoy the book, a list of items is after the break.

Costco Membership Fees Rising

Costco membership sign

If you haven’t heard yet, your Costco membership fee is rising 10%. Beginning November 1st, 2011 for new members and January 1st, 2012 for renewals, the new prices will be $55 for Goldstar and Business members and $110 for Executive members. This increase will impact U.S. and Canadian memberships. This was revealed at the same time that Costco announced their fourth-quarter profits had missed analysts’ expectations, causing some to wonder if it was forced by the allegedly greedy board of directors wanting their stocks to grow. I don’t think this was the case at all. We have gone five years without a membership price increase, and operating costs are a lot higher now than then.

If you haven’t heard, it has also been announced that the long time Costco CEO Jim Senegal has announced his retirement, and will be replaced by COO Craig Jelinek. Some are saying the membership fee increase is all Jelinek’s doing and this is one of many changes to come now that our beloved Senegal is out. Truth is, Jelinek won’t take over until January 1st, and Senegal will still be on the board for at least another year. And beyond that, from what I’ve read, Jelinek is a great like-minded leader that has been at Senegal’s side for the past 10 years and with Costco for 28 years now. For some good news, it was also announced that the Executive Membership rebate cap was increased from $500 to $750. All in all, I think the fee increase will help to keep product prices from rising, so the more you buy the more you will get out of this increase. What are your thoughts? Are you okay with the increase or will it cause you to drop your membership?

Costco Coupons October 2011 (10/13/11 – 11/6/11)

Costco coupon book October 2011 cover

Once again I am one of the first to bring you the new October 2011 Costco coupon book. You can view it online through my link or download it if you’d like, and it is valid from October 13th to November 6th. I have to admit, I am not very excited over this month’s coupons. The Contigo coffee mugs are a good deal, making them $6 for 2 after $4 off. The Vitamin Water pack of 20 will also be a great price, at only $9.99 after $4 off. As for me, I don’t see a lot I will get, probably only the Potstickers, perhaps a take and bake pizza, and I’ll check out the carbon monoxide detectors to see how much they are, since it’s now a law that you have to have them. Same as last month on the tire coupon — Michelin. Also once again a short turnaround time between coupon books.

Costco Coupons September 2011 (9/15/11 to 10/09/11)

September 2011 Costco Coupon book cover

The upcoming September 2011 Costco coupon book is now available for viewing, and will run from September 15th to October 9th. Clicking the above link will show the coupons within Google Docs, with no need to download. This book has me much more excited than this past months. I am most excited to see the Nestle Tollhouse cookie dough, because my local warehouses have not carried it over the summer, so it is good to see it back. I just bought the Fiber One bars and the Quaker Instant Oatmeal this week, and will probably not bother trying to get the $5 off that I missed out on. If you haven’t tried the Fiber One I highly suggest you give it a shot. Online chatter has been about the biscotti, the wiper blades, and the portable generator is actually a great deal. We are also now back to having the Michelin tires on coupon. I am surprised that there are only 4 days between the two coupon books.

Costco Coupons August 2011 (8/18/11 to 9/11/11)

August 2011 Costco Coupon Book

The new August 2011 coupon book is now available for viewing, and will run from August 18th to September 11th. You may click the link above to see the Costco coupons in my Google Docs. It seems to have the standard fare of items, from drinks to vitamins to electronics to paper towels and more. There is not that much that piques my interest, although I will probably pick up some Hansen’s drinks. The Shark Pocket Mop Steam cleaner is a good deal, should be around $80 after coupon. The Sharp Aquos 60″ LED HDTV is also receiving a lot of chatter, and will likely be $1300 – $1400 after coupon in Costco stores. Bridgestone tires are once again on coupon.

Remember, at most locations you can grab a book at your membership counter if you never got it mailed to you and at some locations the cashier will have the coupon there and automatically scan it for you. I  heard they are getting more strict on this though. Perhaps to encourage the new coupon email signup program. Hope you enjoy the book.

Costco Coupons July 2011 (7/14/11 to 8/7/11)

July 2011 Costco coupon book cover

The July Costco coupon book is out and available for viewing in my Google Docs. It is valid from July 14th to August 7th. The feedback I’ve seen says that this is unfortunately not a very good coupon book. People are starting to think that Costco is no longer selling products at loss to get customers in the door, instead focusing on higher margin items. Regardless, I will continue to shop at Costco and enjoy the many products they sell. Unfortunately for me, none of those items are coming up on sale. Online forums have had quite a bit of chatter about the Oral-B brushes and the popcorn chicken. I was also surprised by the tire coupon this month. It is for Bridgestone, at the standard $70 off, but also includes $30 off the installation fee. I don’t remember seeing that before.

Costco Coupons June 2011 (6/9/11 to 7/3/11)

June 2011 Costco Coupon Book

The newest Costco coupon book is out. It runs from June 9th to July 3rd. I have uploaded the June coupon book to my Google Docs for your viewing. There are quite a few snacks and different types of drinks on coupon. The Michelin tires are back again for the second month in a row surprisingly. There has been a lot of talk about the Red Bull being on sale, the Mobil 1 oil, and the HTC Inspire 4g. I am looking forward to picking up the Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza and that’s about it.

Remember, at most locations you can grab a book at your membership   counter if you never got it mailed to you and at some locations the   cashier will have the coupon there and automatically scan it for you. I  heard they are getting more strict on this though. Perhaps to encourage  the new coupon email signup program. Read more for a list of items and their prices off.
