Costco August 2017 Coupon Book

Costco August 2017 Coupon Book Cover

Just released is the August 2017 Costco Coupon Book. As we mentioned previously in the Changes to the Coupon Book post, the August coupons will run from August 3rd through August 27th. If you click the link at the top it will take you directly to the coupon pages so you can see them. The upcoming September 2017 Costco coupon book starts in August as well, so make sure to check that out too! We are quite surprised by some of the items in the coupon book. Overall, we’d say we’re fairly impressed. Read on to see what we think! If you’d like to be notified as soon as we post the latest coupons you can sign up for our email list, or Like us on Facebook!

The biggest thing that stands out in the August 2017 Costco coupon book is that the Apple iPad is discounted! We don’t recall that ever happening, especially when you consider how much Apple controls the pricing on their products in the retail space as well as the fallout Costco and Apple had a few years ago that led to Costco carrying none of their products for a while. So for the iPad to be on sale for $40 less is pretty shocking to us and a great deal if you’re in the market for one. If you’ve never tried the Kirkland danishes we recommend you give them a shot, they’re really tasty. Another sale item that stands out to us is the Kirkland Signature canned chicken breast. It’s really nice to have on hand for an emergency, and is quite adaptable for a variety of meals, from quesadillas to pasta to more. Lastly, we definitely want to mention the Kirkland Signature Daily Facial Towelettes. These are by far the best face wipes we’ve ever used. We love how moist they stay and how soft they are and we don’t think they’ve been in the coupon book before! The tire coupon is once again Bridgestone, and we predict in September it will be Michelin again.

If you’ve read all the way through this and still can’t find the coupon book then click the link in the first sentence when you’re on the August 2017 Costco Coupon Book page and it will take you right to it. We’ll also be posting the prices to the items very shortly. Which coupon book items stand out to you this month? Are you feeling like this is much better than last months too?

Costco vs. Amazon Price Comparison

July 11th, 2017 Insider
Costco vs Amazon

In honor of Amazon Prime Day today we thought we’d compare some pricing from our local Costco store to pricing on Amazon. Keep in mind that pricing at Costco around the country can be slightly different, but we believe electronics stay mostly the same. The comparison pricing was taken from the store on July 10th, so keep in mind as well that pricing can change over time too. Feel free to leave a comment of any comparisons you’ve made where you’ve find the pricing to be better at either Costco or Amazon!

From a quick review of the pricing of the random items we selected there are a few great deals. First of all, the 53″ Teddy Bear is half the price at Costco. Secondly, the hair dryer is 40% cheaper at Costco. Lastly, the Braun Series 3 shaver is 43% cheaper at Costco. It also is a newer item in our store, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon started to bring down their price to get closer to Costco’s pricing. On the other hand, ALL of the printers we randomly checked were cheaper on Amazon. So now you know, buy everything except printers at Costco!

There are a few deals we’d like to mention from the July 2017 Costco Coupon Book. The first is the Kirkland Diapers, because they only go on sale once every few months and are a great value. The Sharpie/Paper Mate/Expo 34-piece Writing Essentials Pack is great for back to school shoppers as is the youth backpack. We’ve never seen bacon in a coupon book, so we’re pretty excited about that, despite the fact it’s turkey bacon. We’re also personal fans of the Chobani yogurt and the Mini Wontons. The tire coupon has switched back to Bridgestone with the standard $70 off deal.

Wondering why you can’t see the coupon book? Click the link in the first sentence when you’re on the July 2017 Costco Coupon Book page and it will take you right to it. Below it we’ve also posted a list of items with their final prices. What items are you excited about in the coupon book?
