Free sample of new Kirkland Signature Shampoo and Conditioner

Kirkland Signature Shampoo and Conditioner

Costco is giving away a free sample of the new Kirkland Signature Shampoo and Conditioner.  They have changed the formula once again.  While many people praised the quality of the shampoo and conditioner in the past, there is one gripe that stood out, the fragrance.  Many people described it as a cherry vanilla smell.  From what I understand, this new formula is much better, and I have heard reports that it has a slight coconut smell to it.  It’s sulfate free, paraben free, 100% vegan, gluten free, had no animal testing and is safe for color treated hair.  Reviewers have also said that in general, the Kirkland Signature shampoo and conditioner have worked better than the expensive $20 bottles they get in the salons.  I believe the last product was manufactured by Nexxus.  I’m excited to try it out myself and see what I think.  Have you tried it?  Thoughts?

I loved the old formula, and looked everywhere for who made it for costco. It was the best so im happy to have found this site. I cant however afford Nexxus so Im not all that happy about the change. Now you get one bottle for more money than the old 2 for one price. Yeah, the scent was not the best but the shampoo rinsed clear and clean and preformed better than any other. This new formula? Not so much. It takes twice as long to rinse out. It is nice feeling, smells great (tropical, like coconut and flowers), and I Love that its not tested on animals. Organic is always best, so my complaints are limited. The bad? Half the product for more money and more rinse time in the shower.

Does anyone know who makes the new shampoo for kirkland/costco? Im not real familiar with high end shampoo’s.

The twin pack shampo was okay. Now for the same price you get just one bottle.

I request Costco to bring the older choice, it saved me money and that’s why I go there to shop.

I agree! I finally opened my bottle of New KS Moisture Shampoo today, and I hate it.

I liked the milder scent of the old shampoo, but more importantly — it CLEANED MY SCALP. That’s the main reason I shampoo every day. The new stuff is that sulfate-free rubbish that won’t clean sebum off my scalp. So by the time my hair is dry, I smell like I used cheap perfume or body spray to cover up rancid oily hair.

This stuff is going back to Costco. I wish I could find out who made their old stuff, because I can’t use the new stuff.

I’m really irritated at the people who spread all the rumors about sulfate-based detergents, because sulfate-free isn’t any less likely to irritate your eyes but it won’t clean properly. Maybe some people with dry skin and scalp need to preserve their skin/hair oils, but I ain’t one of them.

The new fragrance in the shampoo is so overwhelmingly strong it is gross. It reminds me of visiting my grandparents and using the 5 year old bottle of pert plus in their guest bathroom. Cheap scent! It lingers for days as well and left a reminder on my pillowcases!

It’s a rip off that they doubled the price and changed the label. I don’t shot at Costco anymore because of this.

  7. I think organics shampoos are a lot healthier than traditional shampoos and you are not putting all those toxic substances in your face
