The Super Bowl deals for this year run from January 17th through February 7th, which is the day of the Super Bowl. The Costco Super Bowl handout is also known as the Big Game Savings handout. The reason for this is that the term Super Bowl is heavily copyrighted. TVs go on sale this time of year for a few reasons. One is that the Super Bowl is the most watched television broadcast of the year. Secondly, new TVs generally come out in April, so this is the last time for retailers to advertise them in a major holiday sale before the new models start rolling out. When comparing this years prices to last years, we can see that TVs are continually getting cheaper. For example, the best TV available at Costco is the LG OLED CX series. Last year in the Super Bowl ad the 55″ and 65″ were $100 more than they are this year. We’re disappointed there are no Samsung QLED TVs, as there usually are and they are a great TV as well. The Vizio M51a-H6 36″ 5.1 Channel Home Theater Sound System is an intriguing deal. Regularly $299 with a $100 off coupon makes it $199. The sound system has a massive 6″ wireless subwoofer that should produce some great sound. The Doritos Nacho Cheese are a great splurge to enjoy the game with as well.
