I have uploaded the May 2011 coupon book to my Google Docs for your viewing. It runs from May 12th to June 5th. I was surprised to see the short time between coupon books — three days. There is a lot of stuff to start your summer off right. Bug spray, chlorine pool tablets, and sunscreen are just some of the things on sale. The tire special is back to Michelin. There is a lot of chatter about the Sony 46″ Bravia LED that is $150 off. For me, I think I will pick up some San Pellegrino, and unfortunately, that’s probably it. I was not a fan of eating a whole bag of Bourbon chicken by myself. For a larger family it would probably work well and you wouldn’t get too tired of the taste. I also wasn’t a big fan of the ribs, which I tried last time they were on coupon.
Remember, at most locations you can grab a book at your membership counter if you never got it mailed to you and at some locations the cashier will have the coupon there and automatically scan it for you. I heard they are getting more strict on this though. Perhaps to encourage the new coupon email signup program. Read more for a list of items and their prices off.

On May 14, 2011 I traveled approximately 45 miles to shop at the Costco Warehouse in Southlake, Texas and purchase items included in the coupon book for 5/12/11 – 6/5/11. One of the coupons was for Splenda….1000 ct packets and/or granulated 1.63 lbs., limit 2. Upon checkout I had 2, 1000 ct packet boxes in my cart and was informed by the cashier that the coupon was only valid for one. The coupon clearly stated “limit 2”. When I pointed this out to the cashier, he informed me I would have to purchase one of each. I have been a Costco member since 1980 or 1981 when the warehouse was called Price Club (I believe). (My membership was upgraded at one point and the membership date was changed and challenged to no avail, however the original signing was 1980 or 1981). I felt compelled to bring this frustrating shopping experience to your attention. I trust your customer’s shopping experiences are of importance to you and your cashiers will be educated on the coupon redemption process.
